Zone Controller for Ducted Reverse Cycle Systems
Smart, sophisticated, and incredibly intuitive, your Braemar Zone Control controller makes operating your Braemar ducted reverse cycle air conditioner so simple. The discreet and modern design will blend seamlessly into the décor of your home.
Control 4 to 8 zones with individual temperature control.
Set different temperatures for each zone.
Ability to turn zones on and off, at the RF remote sensor or at the wired wall control.
Each zone can be both temperature and time schedule controlled.
Prevent excessive power bills by setting the “SAVE” function. This function limits the upper and lower temperature settings.
Optional additional subsidiary wired wall control can be purchased to allow two access points to your zone system.
The “X-Fan” function allows the indoor fan to continue after the system has been switched off in cooling mode, helping dry the indoor heat exchanger.
Optional Wi-Fi control module.
Disclaimer: Zoning is an optional extra. Braemar zone control kit comes standard for a 4-zone system. For systems with more than 4 zones, additional optional RF remote sensors are required.
How Does it Work?
Braemar Dominator uses reverse-cycle technology to deliver a powerful replacement for your gas-ducted heater in Melbourne. The idea is centred around using the Braemar Dominator as a replacement for your gas-ducted heating system and then continuing to use your evaporative cooling system during summer, meaning you have the most efficient whole-house solution no matter what time of year it is. However, the benefit of the Braemar Dominator is that it also has refrigerated cooling built in to use on days when the air is too humid for evaporative cooling to function. It also has the versatility of being able to be installed in two different applications, besides both on the roof or under the floor.
Option 1 – To your existing gas ducted heating ductwork
In an industry first, you can connect a Braemar Dominator to your existing gas-ducted heating ductwork, with only a few minor alterations. This means that if you have a house where you are unable to change your current ductwork, for example, in a double-story house or in a house with poor access, this might be the solution for you! In this scenario, you can replace your heater and get 17kw of heat from your new Braemar Dominator system and up to 12kw of refrigerated cooling, still using the evaporative cooling system that you may still have installed.
Option 2 – To all new premium ductwork
When you install a Braemar Dominator to premium R1.5 ducting (like you would on a normal brand-new ducted refrigerated installation), the performance of the system goes to another level! Braemar has developed this product to challenge even the industry’s best reverse-cycle products, offering up to 21kw of heating and 16kw of cooling when installed to premium R1.5 ducting. These numbers can differ depending on the application, so see one of Weather World’s expert sales team to get a quote and see how this product can revolutionise your home’s heating and cooling in Melbourne needs today!
